Hercules & the Nemean Lion

According to ancient myth, the first labor of Hercules set by King Eurystheus was to slay the Nemean Lion. The Nemean lion was a ferocious monster that could not be killed with mortal weapons, but Hercules managed to slay the lion with his immense strength and strangled it to death.
